Featured House Plans
Homes with two master suites have become popular in recent years, as the cost of owning a home has gone up, while incomes have stayed stagnant. Increasingly popular with retirees who want to maintain a nice lifestyle but need to share the expenses of a large home, this style offers the amenities without shouldering the huge cost burden alone. Most homes of this style are a split-plan, offering two complete master suites, with luxurious master baths, walk-in closets and private sitting area on opposite ends of the home, and the "public spaces", i.e. kitchen, living and dining room, in the center of the home, to be shared by both couples. Extra bedrooms for visiting family or guests are usually found upstairs. Other styles offer one master suite on the first floor for an elderly family member, and another master suite and secondary bedrooms on the upper floor.
