preliminary set, you may request any
changes needed included with this price.
We will make the changes and send you a
new preliminary PDF file to look over.
Price is for a
single-family residential home and does
not include on-site visit (if required)
for
measuring existing structure. Onsite
visit to measure and photograph home is
an extra charge and priced at 75¢/mile +
$50/hr. (75-mile driving radius of our
office only, which includes the cities of
New Orleans and its suburbs, the
northshore cities of Mandeville,
Covington, etc. and the Mississippi areas
of Picayune, Poplarville, Hattiesburg and
the Mississippi Gulf Coast) + hourly
charges for designer and any assistants.
Average cost of on-site visit is $300. If
you can take accurate measurements (or
have the original blueprints) and good
photos of the home yourself, an on-site
visit is not necessary.
When you've given
final approval on the preliminary set,
then you can decide to have full
construction drawings drafted, or take
the preliminary to a local
designer/architect for finished drawings.
We can also send the .DWG or .DXF files
(Autocad format) or .LA files (Chief
Architect format) to your architect. We
do not have to provide finished drawings
if you would rather have a local
designer/draftsman complete the plans.
Some states require a local designer or
architect to finish the plans, so please
check your local building code.

Preliminary Fee will act as your
deposit and be credited to your final
balance.
Payment of 50% of
the final balance will be due before work
on final drawings begins. Final balance
will be due before final drawings are
shipped.
Other
designers charge $2
or more per square
foot for the entire structure (existing
AND new construction) and provide ONLY
elevations, floor plan and foundation
plan. With us, you receive custom design
work AND permit-ready drawings for far
less than half the price!

Plan- done at either 20'=
1'-0" or 10'= 1'-0" depending
on size of lot, this plan shows the
building lot and location of the house,
driveway, sidewalks, etc. $200
Mississippi
Engineer's Stamp- required for
homes being built in MS coastal counties
that have more than 10' exterior walls
and/or more than 10:12 pitch. Ask us for
more details. $500-$1000
Payments
can be made online
or a check or checking account withdrawal

Once work has begun on a project, there
will be no refund of deposit.

If we
ship your printed blueprints and you then
want to make changes, there is a $400
Revision fee.
Please make sure everything is just how
you want it BEFORE we begin your final
drawings!
Shipping is free
for US customers.
Ground shipping for Basic Package will
take approximately 3-5 business days for
delivery.
Express shipping is available for an
extra $75 charge due
to the weight of blueprints and fuel
charges.
PLEASE NOTE:
Final
drawings generally take 4-12 weeks for
completion
depending on the complexity
of the house, the number of changes
requested, and the number of plans we are
working on when your project is
submitted. Spring and Summer are our
busiest seasons, so plans will take
significantly longer during those times.
Smaller, simpler plans will have the
shortest turn-around time (sometimes as
little as a week!) as well as plans
submitted during the Fall and Winter
months. We are a small firm and we take
the time to give our clients the personal
attention they deserve.
Please allow
enough time for custom designs to be
completed before you need the plans!
