We
want a very specific house: up-to-date in
energy efficiency with passive solar
features, but a traditional "real
home" look. After looking at
hundreds of plans and thinking I'd have
to design my own hybrid house, I stumbled
upon Vaughan Designs. Not only is there a
plan that will provide a great baseline,
I won't have to hire another architect to
make the desired changes. Vaughan Design
is willing to make custom changes to any
of these plans for a very reasonable per
hour fee. And I have a chance to win my
desired design for free?! How much more
cost-effective could planning get? It
seems we've found the best design AND the
perfect designer.
